Lara Olivia
Dutch born Lara Olivia has been dancing for as long as she can remember, participating in street-dance, ballroom, modern and ballet classes.
Lara graduated from the Performing art school in 2013 in the Netherlands and started working as a singer and dancer at various clubs and bars across Europe.
The first time she tried pole dancing was back in 2014, when her friend invited her to join one of the local pole classes.
From the very first move (Fireman spin as recalls) she knew, she was going to love this.
Through the years, pole dancing has given her more confidence in her self giving her the feeling she can achieve anything she puts her mind too as well as creating a healthier body.
Feeling strong mentally and physically and sexy, she can’t now imagine how life would have been like without pole dancing.
The combination of dance, elegance and strength makes pole the perfect escape from her busy life as a professional Singer.
Lara didn’t have to think twice when her previous pole dancing school asked her if she wanted to started teaching.
Since 2020, she has been teaching at various schools around the UK, but also internationally with her own brand of workshops to Norway and the Netherlands. Qualified at Xpert courses 1 to 4 and has completed her First aid qualification.
What do you love about teaching?
“I love seeing students progress not only on the pole but with themselves; they build confidence, self esteem and empowerment. I see students achieve their goals and that it gives me energy and the drive to learn more. Expanding my own knowledge about the body, mobility/Flexibility, movement patterns makes me a better teacher and to share that knowledge makes me very happy”
You could describe her signature style as Sensual Flow incorporated with splitty and pretty tricks. But she wouldn’t walk away from some badass handstand flips.
Always with a smile and lots of encouragement Lara can’t wait to help you find your inner goddess on the pole.
